Stop the Call Madness with ViaTalk

Stop the Call Madness with ViaTalk

You get the calls every day.

They call you at 8:13 AM until 8:48 at night.

They call from New Jersey, India, Chicago.
They call from home while the kids are napping.
They never stop.
They can't afford to.

Sometimes they represent credit card companies or utility companies that are legitimately looking for past due payments but a lot of times, they are fishing scams to illegally get your information and strip you of a lot of money they have no right to.

Car Warranty calls, fund raiser scams.

Who called? How do you get all of these calls to stop?

You've tried the National Do Not Call list.

You've tried asking them to stop.

Nothing works.

The Federal law is that if they don't receive an answer and don't leave a voice mail, it isn't considered a party contact. No contact means they can keep trying and so they go after you every 20 minutes.

I finally have a system going with my voip phone service called ViaTalk.

ViaTalk can replace your home phone service and has all of the Call Forwarding option goodies included in their service and this has helped me to bring sanity back into my home.

You have to pay for one year's service at once but that's $179 for 12 months is less than $15.00 a month.

My favorite features are the Caller ID Features which include Block, Blacklist and Incoming Call Routing.
This means you can block Anonymous Calls, re-route calls, send identified numbers directly to voice mail... you name it.

If you've ever donated blood, you know what I'm talking about.
I have 6 numbers all from the Red Cross that I forward right to voice mail. I never hear them.

Here's another example... a company that bought my father's credit card debt is always looking for him.
My father never lived at this address and has been dead for 9 years... they don't care.
They want his money and constantly call leaving messages for him, threatening him if he doesn't return their calls.

I set up ViaTalk to send this number directly to Voice Mail.
The phone never rings here.
Remember that these companies usually don't leave messages so I just set up a folder at the ViaTalk website for all of these call logs just in case a Federal lawsuit is brought against the collection agency, I can file a claim.

I don't usually promote stuff or services but ViaTalk's home phone service is the best investment against credit fraud scams that I've made in quite a few years.

Happy Birthday, Jerry Garcia

Jerry Garcia, leader of the Grateful Dead, would have been 67 today.

He passed away in 1995 and will be remembered for his painting as well as his solo work and work with the Dead.

Check out SIRIUS XM's Grateful Dead Channel any time from August 1st through August 9th as they feature "Jerry Week" (yeah - that's 9 days).
That's Sirius 32 and XM 57.

They'll feature more archival music, fan recordings, and his side work as well as his work with the Dead.

My favorite lyric of the theirs comes from, "Touch of Grey."

"Whistle through your teeth and spit, but it's alright."

How graphic can one line get?
